Today, I’m freezing my butt off in Norway.
A couple of weeks ago, I was sweating in Colombia.
Who knows where I’ll be a month from now?
I travel a lot.
But I love building electronics, so I always set up a lab wherever I go.
Last week I was in Sweden with my parents. There was a tiny little storeroom in the house we were staying. My dad built a desk out of things he found in the garage. Then put it in the storeroom for me to use as a lab.
And it was all I needed:
Because…
You don’t need a lot of equipment to build electronics.
I’m traveling with two boxes.
One box with lots of different components:
Resistors, capacitors, transistors, LEDS +++
And another one for bigger things:
Breadboards, Arduinos, a soldering iron, multimeter +++
When I need something I don’t have, I find a local store to buy it if possible.
Or I order online.
All you really need is a desk.
…and your favorite collection of components.
You can start out small, with only a few components. And be able to build a lot of cool things. Just as I show in my eBook “Getting Started with Electronic”:

Keep on Soldering!
