[tps_header][/tps_header]

From numerous apps available for the engineering students and professionals, we’ve listed some useful Android apps for electrical and electronics engineers. If you are an electrical or electronics graduate, then these apps will surely make your field task much easier. Just install them on your Android device and save your precious time to gain a new level in your career.

In this article, you will learn about the following Android Apps:

8) Electronics Toolkit

7) Ohm’s Law

6) Droid Tesla Demo

5) Resistor Color Codes

4) PICmicro Database

3) Electrical Calculations

2) EveryCircuit

1) ElectroDroid

Click on each headline to download them from Android Play Store.

8) Electronics Toolkit

Electronics Toolkit is designed by James Rockliff who is based in the UK and having a vast experience of project management, technical and electronics, production as well as Android-based mobile app development, especially for electrical engineers. This personal interest led him to design a user-friendly interface which calculates unknown quantities of the engineering field, electrical and electronics to be specific.

This app is featured with power calculator, resistor color code, Ohm’s law as well as parallel, series, and parallel/series combination of capacitors, inductors, and resistors.

In the above screenshot, you can see the home screen of the app. It shows the features you can use in the field and can make your work easy. To dig in deep, I have tried the Ohm’s law.

When you click on the tab of Ohm’s law, then such screen will be displayed on your Android device. Here, you need to add the Voltage (V) and Current (I), and then you will get the output Resistance (R) and Power dissipation (P)

As you will change the value in the inputs, the output will be changed. You can also calculate other on-field features like power factor triangle, resistivity, and much more. If you are just starting your career in the electrical and electronics engineering, then this will be a very useful app to be installed on your Android device, as you need not go for the manual calculations or to remember different formulas for calculating different electrical field quantities.

If you like it and want to go deep into it, then you can get the Pro version of the app.
